An absolutely astonishing game.
The low-saturation color palette is harmonious and pleasant, the characters have distinct and vivid personalities, and the dialogue options are witty and humorous. And most importantly—my favorite part—the soundtrack perfectly builds and supports the atmosphere without ever feeling out of place!!!
Many indie games, for various reasons, tend to neglect their soundtrack. But personally, I believe music in games is incredibly important. It shapes the atmosphere, draws the player in, and makes the experience far more immersive. Sadly, a lot of games don’t seem to care about this.
So when Deiran snapped his fingers and the music slowly emerged and shifted, I was completely blown away.
I want to use every word in the world to praise this game—and especially its soundtrack!
It’s so subtle yet so present at the same time. It never makes you think, “Oh, there’s music here.” Instead, it blends perfectly with the story and the character art.
Honestly, I almost don’t know what to say. I just love all of this so much…
Even though I’ve spent most of this review praising the music, that doesn’t mean the rest of the game is any less impressive. In fact, I can’t find a single flaw. During the entire playthrough, every choice I made gave me a strong sense of being responded to—as if the characters were truly alive and genuinely talking with me.
An incomparable game!!!
