such a fun concept! the art style really works for it :) someone might've mentioned, but x with wasd was a bit weird for me would be cool to see as a full game!

The controls were added last minute just so we could say we submitted something. After talking to the other dev it was made for players using the arrow keys instead of wasd but it will be changed for the next update
