Why have a limitation / theme fields if those are taken into account in other fields?

I'm fine hearing that my game didn't fit the theme/limitation, but there are ways to say it other than silently downvoting

Your game should have been disqualified from participation. However, we forgot to specify in the rules that participating in other jams simultaneously is not allowed.

You submitted the same game to multiple jams, while it does not comply with either our theme or our limitation — and at the same time you are questioning why you received downvotes.

In our opinion, this outcome is quite obvious.

Right, cause it's the participant's fault that you forgot to be clear on rules :)
Next time just disqualify and update your page, that will be much less shady

To be fair the rules did specify the game must be created during the jam period, and your game had already been published before the jam began.

That's fair. I still believe in that case the organiser should have disqualified my game rather than leaving it especially since I couldn't update it for 3 days during the vote phase
