It happens. Don't sweat it! I will admit that I had been looking for the game when NextFest dropped and being disappointed not to find it, but it's far more important to take care of yourself and your creativity! The gamejam is actually a good thing as an indie dev, as it lets you get more experience and keeps you from burning out by working on just one project. Gamemaking catgirl fighto!!
