I started to play this game because I'm a reaaaaaaaly big fan of Blame!, which I thought heavily inspired this game (I'm not so sure after playing the game??). And I honestly found the experience really nice and really immersing. I would have loved to see the lore a bit more developped tho!!
Gameplay-wise, the FPS part is really easy to familiarize yourself with and all the puzzle part is easily understandable.
In short, go buy this game, it's really great 👍
