Hi! Your novel is simply excellent! But, I wonder.. Why is Chris addressed in the plural? I just need to know if it's worth changing it to the singular. I am engaged in translating a novel into Russian.
kris uses they/them pronouns which can be seen as plural but in this context it is gender neutral and singular. please be aware of using gender neutral pronouns for kris, thank you
"They" is used as the generic plural pronoun (if there are multiple, always use it), and the gender-neutral singular pronoun (referring to one person whose gender is unknown or not male/female).
