I'm incredibly big sucker for low polygon aesthetics and art, so this immediately caught my eye with this. The game is atmospheric and creepy, albeit maybe a bit more variety in the lab itself would have been good, as without the minimap, this would have ended up endless chase around to find the place back (and guess who did that).
I don't know however if the objective gameloop itself is however that interesting long term, as it reminded me slightly of Lethal Company (wild stretch, I know), with the "assets" needing to be eliminated, but that in itself does grow repetitive. The style, the atmosphere and the graphics are good enough to try maybe do something else with this entire concept, instead of just slowly discovering the lab and why it is filled with the creatures itself. Naturally it is fine that's what you guys were going for, but I think in this given game, I would have loved some story, because I have been charmed by the general package of it.
Though the gun jittering while I was walking/running did make me laugh. I assume this is unintended, but what kind of game jam it is without some jank. Overall, my biggest congratulations on managing to complete the game!
