Well done! The use of formatting to add to the scene is successful, and I like how the pressure of only being able to search 3 rooms adds to the need to replay the game.
I agree do with someone else who commented and mentioned the rooms still being struck through when the game is played a second time; changing that could be helpful, navigation-wise. I also got a blank room at some point, and I don't remember what room I clicked to get there.
