I got 3 kills in the village, and got promoted to the prarie; whereupon I died immediately without even seeing what the prarie looked like! 3D combat is hard, I respect the effort in delivering this in a jam time-frame and this bug is by no means a deal breaker since the game loads so smoothly.
So the prarie seems completely broken but the desert and mountain work. I really feel the limitations of combat mechanic when they gang up in the mountains.
