Am I the only one thinking Arvo doesn't actually like Gudrun that way on the Gudrun sub route of Torulf's route? To me it just feels like he's confused because he had been given affection while in a vulnerable place. Like the point of only getting Gudrun after 4 days of Torulf might be a lesson about how you deserve to be loved, and not an actual romance.

That being said, the morning scene before Lake grabs you to help, as nice as it is with Gudrun letting Arvo figure out his feelings first, does make me worry a bit. As much as she is a good friend, I physically can't see a relationship with anyone to be good for Arvo at that story point. And something makes me believe Gudrun thinks the same.

That whole sub-route is so forced. "Hey, a stranger forced their way into your life and you got burned after trusting him - time to throw yourself at yet another stranger forcing themselves into your life!". And Gudrun really forces her way into that route, like omg.

Worst sub-route ever. I already hated Gudrun for being ham-fisted into every route at 11th hour with their opinion nobody asked for, but this is just too much.

Just because of this comment, I went and fast-forwarded through any route I wasn't that certain about.

Gudrun doesn't make a single appearance until day 5 at the table singing happy birthday for Jorgen on Rune and Devon routes. She really inserts herself into other routes tho.

I'm mostly talking about the meaningful routes - Mikko's and Torulf's, since they are the big branching ones with a lot of deep character exploration, while other routes are more straightforward.

In Torulf's route she inserts herself at the point where I simply don't believe Arvo would let in another pushy stranger and it ruins my suspense of disbelief.

In Mikko's route she comes in at the exact point where Arvo can salvage things and talk to Mikko straight, with the fire of Mikko's decisiveness lit under the tiger's ass, but now it's suddenly a group outing and he doesn't get a moment of intimacy because of her. It's frustrating to the highest degree.

Fuck her, she ruins everything, both times coming in at the worst time with the worst opinions, without anyone asking her. She is a really obnoxious person, in my opinion.

p.s. also she's being a possessive friend in Jorgen's route early on, but I haven't played Jorgen's route for several updates, so idk what she does there yet.

I understand the Mikko route complaint, but isn't Lake also there?

And the Torulf route complaint? If you refuse to sleep with him day 1, Gudrun inserts herself day 2, which marks the earliest on any route you meet Gudrun. (and I love the detail of how, with adult content on, during truth or dare, specifically under those circumstances, if you pick to get a beer, Arvo gets so drunk the only option you get to ask Torulf is "why have you been avoiding me", I tested it without the beer and without adult content on, Arvo really only gets drunk under those circumstances)

No, you're not. Gudrun is just a supportive stranger when things in Torulf's route get confusing, but making her more of that in almost every route is really forced. -_-

I agree with you.
