I think that the relationship that Hal and the main character share is some of the best writing I have seen in these type of visual novel games. The subtle forshadowing was great with hints being dropped throughout the game making a second or even third replay great. The artstyle has got to be the highlight of the game as it lulls you into a false sense of security with the cozy artstyle that slowly falls apart as the game goes on. The side characters Yaman, Joel, Baku, and Winston were written beautifully with thier conclusions being wonderfully written. Each character had their own motivations along with the goals that pushed them forward. The different dynamics with the different characters made it very enjoyable game to play. Overall I had a great time and this game stands along side of Doki Doki Literature Club as some of the best VN games ever made. 10/10
