The situation seems really strange to me; we hadn't had any hardware problems before. I'll keep it in mind, although I think it might be that the boy's hard drive was already faulty and coincidentally failed when playing the game.
that's likely the case, i was able to get my hard drive replaced so i'm gonna try this mod again, the old hard drive was pretty cheap
