Visual style hooked me instantly. The gameplay feels like an evolved version of He Is Coming, and the torchlight mechanic is fantastic. This looks like the kind of game that should do very well.
I’m honestly surprised it hasn’t already blown up, especially since it looks like it launched ~70 days ago.
My initial run felt a little too harsh as no matter what I picked from the first chest, I died to the first enemy.
I get that RNG is part of the design, but in an auto-battler it felt frustrating to have a start that seemed unwinnable.
On later runs, getting heal/armour on-damage type effects helped a lot and kept me going for many more floors.
I also hit a bug in the shop where the exit description said it was a key and would cost 100 coins.
Initially thought I’d soft-locked, but the icon made it clear I could still exit the shop dialogue by pressing Space even without 100 coins.
Small QoL note, being able to press Esc to exit menus would be great. You already support it in some places, so the inconsistency stood out.
Fantastic game overall though. I highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely come back for more
