I am now officially literate, so I will proceed to explain what each symbol does. If you are not yet literate, do not read the following, doing so would ruin the fun: The dot changes the symbols directly next to it. The square with dots around it transform the symbol to its right into the one to its left. The crosshair changes the symbol in its opposite position. The pillar with three dots changes all the symbols between it and its nearest edge. The three lines with a dot change the symbol to its nearest edge and the symbol in the opposite direction that is equidistant from it as its nearest edge. The square with two triangles and two dots is a little difficult to explain, but if you number the positions from one to eight, if this symbol is in position 1, then it will change position 5. So, 1#5, then the pattern is... 1#5 2#1 3#6 4#2 5#7 6#3 7#8 8#4
