Hi!

Just a query - factions typically start with ~6 Sentences, 3 for people and 3 for locations. These advance and Realize per normal. Check!

When the book says Factions can have up to ten sentences, is this a loose "if you need to add more up front" or "should play demand a new sentence become true" that's up to GM (reasonable story-honoring) fiat? Or did I miss a formal mechanism for adding faction sentences?

It could be that it's just the same as moon sentences, I just roll with players who prefer at least an attempt to confirm RAI before we just make a decision on our own.

Also this game is sick, thank you for the dicelessness of it all!

Great question. The GM can add new Faction Sentences (up to ten) at any time during prep or play! That extra four slots is there to encourage customization even from groups that like to play content as written in the book: there is a lot of prompting power in giving someone four blank lines after giving them six pre-written ones!

in general, I like to start games with just the six, and then fill in others as the campaign continues to try to reflect the action of the story.
