The first few Downloads through Viking File are not the game itself but a trojan!!

This is a false positive as confirmed by multiple users. If you are using Windows Defender and it reports a false positive, please let me know right away so I can have it whitelisted again. If you use a different AV software, please find the AV software's upload webpage and submit the file for deepscan. They will confirm there is no virus present and then whitelist it for the next virus definitions.

The reason some AV software report false positives is because technically the game launcher is a trojan, just not a malicious one. It allows monthly supporters to use the game launcher to automatically download the latest version and update the game from within the program. Since it's a program that downloads other files, it is by definition a trojan, except the only thing it downloads are the game files.

I'm not talking about the game download itself. I'm talking about the first few fake download pushed by Viking File that contain an actual trojan (noticable difference between the expected >1GB download and the actual ~130MB download) hidden in a Ren'py application.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I did not realize Viking Files was permitting that sort of ads. I have replaced the link and in the future will not use VikingFile.
