First of all, you finished a game that looks great overall — and achieving that in just 7 days, especially as a solo developer, is impressive. Great job!
Things I liked:
-
I really like the art style. It feels unique and fresh, and I definitely think it has strong potential for a larger project.
-
The second and third levels are challenging enough to feel engaging and rewarding. You’re heading in the right direction if you continue designing levels like those. I would perhaps refine the level progression slightly to introduce each enemy in a safer context before presenting it as a real challenge.
Constructive Feedback:
-
Some enemy colliders feel too strict. Even if the collider size is technically correct, from a player’s perspective it can feel frustrating to die from what appears to be minimal contact. I would consider slightly reducing their size — especially for the enemy with the open mouth — to improve fairness and perceived responsiveness.
-
In my opinion, the game benefits from short, fast-paced levels. I would therefore focus on making resets and transitions between levels as quick and seamless as possible to maintain flow and momentum.
