The combat system is really tricky but once you understand it it feels nice when you manage to kill an enemy in just two spins.  It might still have a bit too much RNG though, would be interesting to see how the game plays without the rock, paper, scissors mechanic.

On my best run I managed to get to the boss with 40/100HP and sword, shield, and health skills all at 25% but didn't manage to win.  Would maybe be nice to see the enemy HP somewhere so I could have seen how close I got to winning?

I really liked the art style too, the 3D level transitions were smooth.

I initially wanted to omit enemy HP bars to get that feel of two swordsman clashing and that uncertainty after the strike if he's been defeated or not, but I could of achieved that in other ways while still showing a HP bar. Probably something to think about.
