Great entry!

My favorite part, as someone who is a sucker for combat, is the running and movement. Initially the fireballs cooldown felt very weird to me, probably still does. The visual are very cool, though something about the forcefield takes a bit away from it.

Design-wise at odds with itself:
To survive you should run and use the environment to avoid enemies and their attacks. But in running away from the enemies the fast one could be right behind you and you won't know until they hurt you or you run around and lose your momentum.

To actively try to kill enemies you have to sacrifice momentum/short-term survivability to shoot them or get dangerously close to them.

I think in the actual runs the dash doesn't add much as it.

The fireball is awesome, especially how it interacts with movement but the cooldown and how it self damages hurts its implementation.

Overall it's a fun game and something to be proud of! If you try to build it beyond the game jam entry it would likely benefit from a pool of linear levels if you lean into the runner aspect, or make it more like Risk of Rain 2 and lean into the FPS/Rogue-lite combat where you stand and fight enemies while using movement to avoid attacks and explore and find the exit.
