That's sooo trueee! We need to balance it better... Maybe (choose your ally and + 1 pearl | +3 pearl) instead of (random ally | + 3 pearl) would help with that. Adding a random character makes it hard to think your resources... Anyway, thanks for the comment, we will improve it next time.
