yeah I totally agree. I had ideas on how to make it less repetitive but ended up running out of time. A part of that is the lack of balance. I kind of just threw numbers at a wall. If I had a day to just balance, I think it would have turned out better, but I decided to err on the side of caution and made the trait numbers too small, they're WAY too small for what I was going for, probably could have multiplied them by like 5 or even more. I think I'll probably continue to work on it after everything ends because there's a lot more I really wanted to do (breeding/traits depending on how you played instead of random/traits affecting more than just stats/better combat as a whole/etc) that I ended up ditching because it would have taken too long.
