Hi Phil,
I am writing to you because we are working on a small cultural project for a local museum in a small town in Spain. We have a very limited setup using 4 Meta Quest 3S units to show a 180° SBS video to visitors.
Since this is a small-scale exhibition, we need a very reliable and "set-and-forget" solution. Our main challenge is that the museum is in a totally offline environment (no internet access at all) and we need to avoid any Meta Store pop-ups or entitlement checks that could interrupt the experience.
We've chosen Whirligig because we plan to control the playback from a Mac using ADB commands to keep things simple for the museum staff.
Could you please help us with the following?
- We need to purchase 4 licenses for this small project. Since we are 100% offline, we need a "clean" or DRM-free APK that won't lock the app or ask for updates. What is the best way to pay for these licenses and receive the files?
- Since we are using a Mac to trigger the video via Terminal, could you confirm the correct component name for the current Quest 3S build?
We are a small team trying to bring VR to a rural area, and your player seems like the perfect tool for us.
