Short one tho! I cannot wait for to pay for the full version with more content/modes, the developer is still working on that, so fingers crossed Stopsignal!
PS. IMO Old art's in the game look much better, the new ones smell AI (at least the skeletons).
I would either add an option to change back to the old ones in the settings or add the new Halloween look as a free DLC on Steam.
PS2. I might be wrong but ATM it feels for me like the only strategy to beat the game is:
Strategy:
{Strategy TLDR: Mages do a lot of damage all over the board while we push them back to do even more damage using either Skeleton-Spell or characters that summon creatures, e.g. Ratfolk}
How to play:
Go Early Archers spam -> 70% Mages + 1Rocker + 3Spells(2XSkelletons+1XCurse) + 3X *Tank on every lane
Mages are simply OP, with only 9 LVL1 Mages, you deal 18 DAMAGE all over the board every round, and that is with only 1 lvl1 Spell, thats why we take 3X of them, we can lvl them UP which will give us 9X spells total, amounting to 162 Damage, simply outrageous, but this tactic has its weakness, and for us that is Mages needing to move a tile to cast their spell, this makes us want for mages to travel more, luckly with certain characters we can move them back a tile or even 2.
*(Tank choice is intresting, there are lots of options.
As a rule, we could go with a character that summons like Ratfolk, Summoner, or even LVL3 Skulls - they soak the damage and let our Mages cast, but IMO the best tank as of now is:
PigMan - it requires the same setum as Mages = it synergises well with SkelletonsSpell, (when you put a skeleton on top of your PigMan (at any time of the battle) it will push him back 1 tile, giving the PigMan 1/4 of the ability.)
I'm probably too invested in that, but I'm leaning into making a tierlist of characters for Auto Necrochess. I really hope there will be some sort of multiplayer added!
