After playing for awhile here my thought:
Story is pretty good, some twist in original kanto story and hybrid plot is great
Game is well balanced and progression is not very grindy
Many QOL features are implemented
But the map is too ambitious making very big map but most is empty and some places isn't necessary
Overall this game deserves 4/5
Most of my problems with this game is the unnecessary big map it would be better if the map were smaller
I have done some map making with RPG maker myself so this just gonna be a suggestion
Most of the build should be able to see at least 80% if you're in the center
If there were a big map just make it like 4 time bigger than the normal one
Dont leave a place just for walking, have some in-lore reason or some NPC for flavor text or something similar
If you really have to make a big map have some sign for what purpose those places serve
