I've wondered since the new game, is Palmier bisexual or gay or something else? I remember his sister calling him gay in the first game (when he entered the female bathroom), but since the mc can romance him as a female in the second game, is his sexuality, like, non-canon/fluid?

basically he is bi but tends to date more men than women. Fia only has seen him date men so she calls him gay. Palmier sleeps with women but rarely dates them as he doesn’t think he’d make a good partner and he can be meaner to men.
overall the BS world men is basically bi in general since they don’t see gender as an issue and seem to fuss over species more, few exceptions being Ivar but his preference is more due to trauma, and had male crushes in his youth before that event

Hi, please I wanted to ask: I remember that Thane had wings in the first Bewitching Sinners. Is that a trait for all vampires or was Thane just special? Or do vampires just not enjoy flying? Also is Palmier legitimately afraid of heights like his counterpart said? Also is he actually bad at singing? I may obsessed with this man I fear lmao.

vamps all can have wings after a certain age but it takes a lot out of them and generally brings them closer to the Vileblood side so they don’t like using them unless absolutely necessary. It is considred too beastly for the Vampire court.

palmier is still afraid of heights but its not as debilitating as to the mc of BS since he can fly on his own now too in his full witch form.

and yes he is bad at singing but good at dancing. Lolol

Hello Miss Xero, big big fan of your work! I have managed to get most my friends to play and obsess over this! I really love the artstyle, character design and lore and ughhh the world building, this is my oxygen now😭🙏 I have been trying to analyze palmier alot given he's my favourite boi, so i had a question to confirm my speculation! In one of the dialogues in bewitching sinners the original game, the actual palmier had mentioned being clinically diagnosed as having some emotional issues? I forgot the exact line but that made me wonder if he's perhaps a sociopath or psychopath, somewhere around that? It adds alot of depth to this characters so i would love to know! glad u have been enjoying the game! ignia bersion if Palmier has ASPD (anti social personality disorder) so he is a sociopath. In bsrb he is able to feel more (empathy, sadness etc) since he is combined with Kor and Io, but he also has Seth and Meyza in him so yeah, lol

Anyway this is a question about the world-building! I hope I'm remmebering this right, but Palmier said that after the rest of the world lost access to rune ink, places outside of Ignia lost a lot of industrial advancements since they'd been using magic instead of like electricity and broadcast towers. So what technological era are vampires at? The fashion and culture is giving Regency and/or Victorian era, but in the first game at the school the clothing was more modern, so are vampires just vibing with the gothic aesthetic?

they are just vibing with the aesthetic lol, the rest of the world and some vampires dress just like modern times. It’s also mentioned by the merchants setting up shop in Vortec if you neet them (they are pretty noticeable due to their fashion)

As for technology outside of Ignia, think 1910-1920s but 1890s in terms of travel. Lamps/lightbulbs, radio, radio, heating,tv is all there but they haven’t invented planes or cars. Steam engines n such r the norm when outside of large cities.

Ignia being exempt cuz they still have some rune ink/alternative to it so they r advanced in comparison

No way! I played Freak-quency around the time it released and subsequent games like Amplitude and LINGERING, but WOW! It's simply amazing to see how much you've improved over the years with each game! I downloaded both BS and the BSRB demo less than 2 weeks ago and I'm almost finished both entirely bc it's just that good!!! 🤩

Anyways, my first question is in regards to both BS and BSRB. At the end of BS, we see that the OG Palmier absorbs the souls of Meyza, Io, Seth and Ivar. Since we can see and interact with Ivar in BSRB (whether he's real, fake or whatever magic is involved I'll have to theorise myself!), will we get to interact with the others as well?

Secondly, I keep hearing of a DLC that you had to take down from itch due to certain restrictions. Which tier would I need to purchase to access the DLC? I'd also like to support you on Patreon btw not just to buy the DLC! 🥰

Hello Miss Xero, i am back again! I completely forgot to ask this lingering question i had! In the original game, the bday date in the game for the Other Palmier had been May 15 if i remember right. Does that mean that is his bday? Is it also the same for the palmier in BSRB?
