Thank you! This kind of comment is the exact kind that warms my heart. I don't think there'll be "more game", I think we're all pretty content and proud of it being a complete round package (thus why it's a 100-man tournament-- If it was much longer we'd probably run out of combatants at some point); but definitely do expect elements from this game to come up in future action games under my design at least, because the things that inspire it are things that continue to inspire me and ideas I want to iterate on. So there may not be a MOTOR HEARTS 2 or a MOTOR HEARTS DX, but you might feel it in a future project.

As for the feedback, I'd like to think that what trips most people up is probably the hitstun you take from enemies, whether being hit or bumping into them; because of that lack of visual feedback. I did originally want there to be a more distinct visual with its own sprite, but we just didn't have time for it and I kind of neglected to have any sort of visual effect. For the next and final update I plan to add something like a "stun meter", some quick visual that would appear under your healthbar that's just a big blinking "CAN'T ACT RN" that also doubles as a timer letting you know when exactly you can. On top of that, I'll probably add a few more types of cancels (like cancelling an attack directly into a turnaround) but besides that and the stuff outlined in the V1.1 Patch Notes, that's basically going to be it. If you still can't beat the final boss by then, I'm sure those things will be a huge help!

Again, thanks so much for this comment, and thank you for sharing your enjoyment of the game! It means the world to us, mine at least.

i played 3.0 the night after it came out and since then ive been trying to find out something more to say than "yeah, that's right. this is the correct state of the game."

i feel more in tune with the controls and the overall action flows better with your changes.

also, can i say i appreciate having a little write up with the patch? love reading that kind of stuff and getting into the dev's mind.

thank you for making this game. take my greatest award "game id lose 30 minutes trying to run on a school chromebook".
