You got a cool vibe here!
The setting is awesome, I like the idea.
With some music and some sounds (waves + seagulls) you have an awesome fishing game!
I would have liked it you were able to choose the cast-length, so maybe having a QTE where you have to time it to throw at a certain range.
The steering could also have been a QTE (just some ideas).
But I think the game is in a good spot at its current state!
