This game is fantastic, well done! Would you mind please clarifying a couple of points?
1. When rolling on ‘Phenomena’ (regardless of which specific one), do you also need to roll at least 1 ‘Power’ at the same time in order to enable ‘Scanners’? If so, it looks like the only way to scan a Black Hole would be to ‘Charge Battery’ on the previous move in order to save up 1 ‘Power’, since there is no way to roll 4x “threes” for a Black Hole and also roll for Power at the same time. Additionally, there would need to be no Threats present - the odds of scanning anything seem astronomically small in this case!
2. if I’m wrong about the above, and you can scan Phenomena without the ‘Scanners’ selection within Power, then how does the ‘Scanners’ roll work? I roll 1 Power, I select Scanners…how do I then scan Phenomena? Do I just re-roll my four dice and hope to get some “threes”?
3. When it comes to mining Asteroids and scanning Phenomena, it talks about only being able to do it if there are no other threats present. Are threats still present after they’ve inflicted their damage? For example, there is 1 pirate and he inflicts damage on me - can I then scan Phenomena, or is the pirate still considered to be a threat in that turn?
4. “Any asteroids or pirates that are rolled in addition to a Spaceport or Outpost are automatically destroyed by the local security force and their threat neutralised” (a) does this mean that any pirates following me from previous turns don’t get automatically destroyed, only the ones rolled in addition to the Spaceport/Outpost? (b) do I gain the 5C for each pirate killed by local security, or is that only from a direct kill?
