hi i downloaded the game and got the openjdk 11 since my java didn't like it. it's giving me a loading icon and then does nothing, do you happen to know how to fix this? i'm on windows 10

Can you try running the game through the command line with the command "java soli-tarot-0.3.9-SNAPSHOT.jar"? And then tell me the error you get.

it says (roughly): error: main class soli-tarot-0.3.9-SNAPSHOT.jar could not be found or loaded. cause: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: soli-tarot-0.3.9-SNAPSHOT.jar

i cannot send you a screenshot, itch is not letting me either as a picture or a link :( but the original error message was in german anyways, my translation hopefully helps!

I'm sorry I didn't keep better notes back then, but the problem might that the game needs Java 17. Please let me know if that helps.

got the temurrin 17, tried it in the command prompt, same error

(even verified in the prompt that i have 17)

I've uploaded a new file (soli-tarot-0.3.9a-SNAPSHOT.jar). I think I've identified the problem, can you try running that and see if it works?
