There are several story arcs in the game that run in parallel. If you get a wasted screen, it means you’ve started a certain storyline and the alternative one has been locked out. The amount of content is roughly the same across all parallel paths.
If you’d like to see all possible routes, I recommend using the chapter selection.

To unlock the secret scene, you need to: On Tuesday, when Iris asks for a photo of Lisa, choose “Send Lisa’s photo.” On Wednesday, when Iris asks you to pick up her package, choose “Okay, send me the address,” then “Okay, but on one condition — you send me a pic too 😏”, “Try on the gag,” and after that make sure to choose “Decline.”
On the same day, during the conversation with Marcus, choose “I’d say just chill and talk it out with her.”
With these choices, you’ll be able to unlock the scene. After that, on Saturday, follow Iris and choose “And what kind of job do you have?”
