It's difficult to say. I've been getting into drawing lately, but I'm not sure I'll ever feel compelled to make new sprites for the game. I wouldn't get your hopes up, basically, although it isn't impossible that it happens someday. (I actually originally wrote that in the post, but I figured it was too uncertain to warrant including.)
