Suggestion: FOV/perspective adjustment on smaller screens

It would be handy if retrofab games supported some form of FOV adjustment or if they might auto-adjust when making the games fit to fullscreen on a phone (landscape orientation). This adjustment would allow the user to push the vanishing point further into the distance.

I've got a 32" PC screen and for instance the buttons on Octopus look fantastic and the FOV/perspective looks correct for that size screen when I fit the game to full screen size, the buttons appear to be angled away from my eye position at the correct angle (perspective/vanishing point is correct when sitting less than a metre away from a screen of this size), just as they would be in real life if the game were a huge 32" diagonal.
However, when playing on a phone (my Galaxy s20 for instance) and switching it to zoom to fit screen, I notice that the FOV still seems to be the same and the buttons look unnatural as the view appears to be too wide angle for a device of this size at arms length. We should not be able to see so much of the inner edges of the buttons in this case.

Interestingly, if I shrink the view of the game on my phone, I can make it so that the buttons appear to have the correct perspective but I'd rather play at fit to screen size mode.

I'm not even sure if FOV is the right thing that needs adjustment, but certainly related to perspective and vanishing point distance.

Hopefully this comes across as constructive, love this software and often recommend it to friends and others. Thankyou again.

Thanks as always for the great suggestion! I'll add the possibility of having a different perspective setting if a simulation is played on a phone to my to-do list :)

Thanks, hopefully the suggestion made sense and you can see what I'm talking about.
