Yea, a forced romance with a genderlocked RO is a little annoying. What if you wanted to play a gay guy or a straight woman? Sorry, the princess is the love of your life regardless. 🙄

I've explained this before on my Tumblr, so if you haven't seen it already, there are no characters you are "forced" to romance. The MC being in love with her is only for the plot. You don't have to romance her if you don't want to. There are two male romances and another female romance available. You can play however you want and decide for yourself how your MC identifies, and if that doesn't work for you, then you don't have to play at all.
