hey Mako! thank you for the comment! yeah, we know the requirements are not followed, we got a bit carried away with this passion project and forgot to check the website of the jam. still, we decided to upload and submit it because we think the game turned out quite unique that the DC community will appreciate... and had too much fun making it! very thankful for the jam existing to allow us to try new things! ❤︎

Excellent! I was worried you may have missed the rules post, and thought I'd say something before the submission deadline just in case. I'm glad to hear that the jam gave you the opportunity to try new things, it personally influenced me into taking my first steps into learning how to code, to hopefully make my own games eventually.
