First impression after ~10 runs is that the final round is so slow and grindy that I get bored farming points before I actually beat it.
It doesn’t help that you can’t save mid-round, making completing a run on mobile basically impossible for me personally.
I’ve played a bit with stew and clone, so I’m guessing the best way to deal with this would be to just stew someone to 100+ points, clone them, and then feed them to the pred that doubles points but personally I find that very boring vs. snowballing with the stat growth preds. The strat is literally just waiting for enough mana play all your special cards.
I also find just reaching a point quota very boring compared to (for example) the boss fights in something like slay the spire. A more dynamic win condition would do a lot to make runs more unique.
Extremely solid foundation for a game and excited to see what you do with it. (And I desperately wish there was wg [especially with the stat growth chars] but I understand demanding more art isn’t fair)
