If I had a button that could stop time, I would (selfishly) give it to you so that you'd have all the time in the world you need to write this.
Seriously though, this is my favorite IF! I absolutely adore how complex and 3-dimensional you've made each character. I know it's done well when I feel I can't trust anyone, including our beloved Watson! Saying it right now,  both Watson and Hamish are plotting something fr.

SPOILERS FOR 6.2 below

ALSO! When I read IF's, I keep notes to remember the MC's traits and what I thought about each character. And when Lestrade called my Sherlock out for thinking he was a puzzle (which I wrote about him in our initial meeting!) I flipped out. The bar scene has got to be my favorite. Plus I was quite happy when he gave us his journal in 6.2. Though... now I am truly worried that my Sherlock won't view him as a puzzle anymore, but just another finished case. I'm very worried... so um yeah! Keep up the great work!

🫣✨ Maybe MC can have some new puzzles to figure out now about L? Or themselves. Or maybe the puzzle will be how to find comfort in the normal... Or maybe it goes from a "who are you" to a "why are you—and how do we maybe work on that.."  😆

You'll have to tell me if MC drops L after the ball! That's interesting in its own way. Would break the poor inspector, but that's an interesting story too 😌

That's so good! Truly the ultimate puzzle for Sherlock... Themself. 😂 My appreciation for both an angsty story and an angsty man is gonna tear me apart lol.

😆❤️
