Post your results and discuss the events of week 13, Feb 2-8, here. Spoilers for this and past weeks are fine.

This is the first week where a guest writer has helped out! Marcus wrote this week’s story, with some input and edits from me. It’s been great collaborating with him and I hope everyone likes this week’s story - let us know!

Hi, shouldn't the title of this topic be [Week 13: ...] not [Week 12: ...]?

Developer(+1)

Yup, good catch!

I'm a sucker for "casual magic" where magic is being used for Regular Things. Fun little illusions for kids just got my heart

(+2)

poor Jeremiah must feel really guilty if he's willing to go to a place that (allegedly) literally barters in blood

(+2)

Maybe it's just a slightly shady blood donation clinic...

(+1)

their needles are only a liiiittle bit rusty, it's no biggie :-)

(+2)

if anything bad happens to Jeremiah I'm gonna riot

(+1)

I'll join you, he's too precious. he can't die or I'll be sad

(+2)

Protect Needle at all cost.

I feel like a parent for thinking, "ah, Needles and Jeremiah are around the same age, maybe they can make friends with each other :-)" Needles does seem like a chill guy though

Are there any plans to ever add images to The Daily Spell? Or has photography not been invented yet

(+1)

maybe they use thoughtography spells? It'd be kind of funny if they have all these illusion spells but no photography spells

Developer(+3)

Well, you see, it’s a society that highly values the written word…

The actual answer is it would be amazing to have images, but this is a free game without a budget for art, so it’s not likely in the near future at least.
