No the game is not dead actually the game is very much alive. If you have notice under "more information" it says last updated 13 days meaning that the is being work on. I should know because grizz route was updated recently if I'm not mistaken.

I'm talking about here your looking at the development logs. I would advise to check on the game here and there because i think some updates is like to fix minor bugs or add a day to a character route. I think like big updates go into the development logs or some think like I might be wrong but this is just speculation I'm talking about here.
