Good idea on the trademarks. I bet there are some serious collectors who'd love to get their hands on a machine that got pulled from the market. Maybe it was too intense and Stern felt like it was hurting their brand or something?
I mean, I could definitley see it being a little intense for the brand (especially back in 2001!!). But also, if there's really not that much information about it (at least on the English-speaking web), the machine must not have had much distribution. Probably got pulled early, if it ever made it out of Joypolis. I guess it just feels like there isn't even that much to cover up, especially not all these years later. But it also sounds like there's a lot of folks with anecdotal experience here, so why ISN'T there more information...
