However, I think that the way that the MC describes is too show-not-tell at times. I think that more abstract descriptions would match better with how she feels towards seeing e.g. the cherry blossoms for the first time. As opposed to 'trees with pink', perhaps 'lustrous, billowing pink-dressed mahogany trees that whistled slight songs with each breeze' - but maybe that's too pretentious for this VN LOL.

^ You're right though. We try to match the style with the demographic. The style of this VN isn't completely set in stone yet, but we do try to typically stick to plain speak for prose because it's aimed at a large demographic of ages and types of people. It would alienate a lot of people unfortunately to use flowery language.

A lot of people have said they want more choices. But development-wise, the more choices you have the longer development is going to take. And we simply put choices where we saw need. In this case, we had two weeks to develop the demo. Overall, it's something we'll look at doing if we develop the full game, but players should keep in mind it realistically lengthens development time, so to balance that, the story itself may be shorter. It also can open up more opportunity for the story itself to be weaker than a story that just trudges on ahead. You get to focus on quality story more when you don't have to worry about choices weakening story.

I'm definitely saying there's no way to have a happy balance of course, just that it's something that won't be easy.

Thanks for so much for the lovely comment. Also although Egle is the script writer who puts plot into the actual script/prose, I currently write the plot of the story and we both build the characters while she builds the world. And the art is mainly all Chieu, with background art by our contractor, Laynesis. But yes, including our programmer Ian, that's our full team for this demo :)

For now, those are all the ways you can help. Spreading the word does a lot for us. We haven't yet been able to get a lot of the bigger ARMY fanbases to do that yet unfortunately. Thank you for your help! The demo is now on Android as well.
