You should start over with the latest version (0.3.3) it contains everything from the previous versions and bug-fixes as well as new content, there is no need to play earlier versions! :)
Yes, I saw a game similar to yours, and I saw scenes in the old versions that weren't in the new version, so I thought your game must be like that too. :))
