For everyone seeing this and wonders about Update 99:
So this is nothing official, but I think we will get the 99th version only next week and I think this may have been the plan of the dev all along.
The dev said they want to take two weeks for update 100 to make it memorable and worthy for the 100th version and the Patreons always get the newest version one week earlier than those who paid on itch here.
This means the dev is currently working on update 100 and this skipped a Saturday... Which means we will get update 99 next Saturday and update 100 the one after that. It's all how the dev planned, but it may have been communicated poorly, especially for those who exclusively follow them on itch up (for both groups of people - for those who paid and for those who want to play the free version).
For the dev, if you read this:
If I am correct with this assumption in this post, then be assured, it's completely fine if you do it that way! It's very understandable and I imagine that keeping up with the updates and also replying to everyone over on Patreon, F95 and over here partially does put some pressure on you. But for the next time, please be more specific and clear how you schedule the individual updates for each group (the patreons, the payers on itch io and for the f2p ones).
