I normally play this game with my controller but I also hid my gaming keyboard and mouse in the sixth row of nine drawers at the guest room. Well, I downloaded and installed a program called “reWASD” before playing the game. I was able to remap my favorite DirectInput gamepad buttons to either the Xbox equivalents or KBM, but I have an origin white PS5 controller plugged into my PC via USB-A / USB-C cable. The practical steps were creating a new profile by typing in (3Dash) and then adding its Executable and plus, selecting “Virtual Xbox One” from the dropdown menu on top of it. I already button-mapped my controls to XBOX layout: Cross = Jump (A Button) Square = Fly (X Button) Triangle = Y Button, Circle = B Button, D-Pad Right = Place Checkpoints (D-pad →) D-Pad Left = Delete Checkpoint (D-pad ←) D-Pad Up = D-pad ↑, D-Pad Down = D-pad ↓, Option Button = Pause (Start) Touchpad = Select, R2 = Turn (Right Trigger) L2 = Left Trigger, R1 = Right Bumper, L1 = Left Bumper, R3 = Right Stick Click, L3 = Left Stick Click, PlayStation Home Button = Windows Key, Share Button = take screenshot (Print Screen: Press) & record clip (Print Screen: Hold) Left Thumb-Stick = Joystick, Right Thumb-Stick = Joystick.
