spoilers! i’m glad you enjoyed the writing, since it’s something i’m not as confident in. a lot of these were influenced by other games i like (e.g. choices that don’t influence the ending but show more about the character). i’m planning on writing a long-form postmortem so i might talk about those as well.
  • you’re right that there wasn’t much variety for the music. there’s only two bgms because i wanted to make my own, but also didn’t want to make more for the gamejam. i might add more in the future if i have ideas/time.
  • about the “leaving together” ending at the balcony, i did intend for them to actually “leave” there (with an ending name something falling into hell), but i couldn’t figure out how to execute it in writing so i gave up haha
  • i think i might fix up the blank text boxes actually, it was mainly to time the sfx. i sort of figured out another way but it never occurred to me to change this. thanks for telling me!
  • as for the last ending… i think i really am an atypical player. once i was really convinced in a game there would be hidden dialogue in a loop choice like that and i tried almost 20 times before giving up. i’ll definitely keep that in mind when making something like this again.
