Certain Pokemon have the passive ability to attack invisible pokemon. One such mon is Xatu line, and Honchkrow line. When they hit an invisible Pokemon, ALL OTHER POKEMON will be able to target them.
Wasn't very clear to me, and I didn't even get any pokemon with that ability for a while
