Taishō Romance Theater is a fascinating game demo. The setting of an alternate 1920s Japan entering a "modern" era but still with traditional influences that combine to make a very interesting backdrop hooked me immediately. The story was a mysterious and, at times, an unsettling experience for me. However, the game is very much like a well written book that keeps you turning the page because you want to learn what happens next and find out everything. The character art is beautiful. It expresses the nature and the emotions of the individuals and enhances the story. I enjoyed it immensely and I cannot wait to experience the full game!
