Beat the game twice, once recently and once when it game out. Did a 'hero' save where I focused on getting through the main story without being tempted, and a 'sl*t' save where I voluntarily lost at every encounter.
I REALLY do like this game, I like the setting, the characters were enjoyable, the story was fairly engaging, and of course, LOVE the game over scenes :3
The ONLY gripe I have with this game is unfortunately, the one thing you're doing 90% of the time, the combat.
The combat in this game is fairly simple, which for a p*rn game, is fine! but I HATE how RNG it is. The best strategy I found was to spam the Hard Knocks ability, pray for good selection RNG with it, and pray you don't get dazed, or submission move combo'd back to the bar entrance. Around the time the hyena variants come in, (hyena trainer, and the yellow one I forget his name,) health basically becomes a non-mechanic. By the end of the game, I had dozens of health items because i just didn't need them, as it's all about hoping for good enemy attack RNG. It's not even that managing one mechanic (health) gets phased out for managing another, (submission) because (as far as I know) there is NO way to lower submission mid-fight, so you're just hoping they die before they can 'tame' you (for lack of a better word.) Don't even get me STARTED on the RNG for the dice game. I went left to avoid the RNG of combat just to get hit with the dice game RNG, which would've been really funny if I wasn't so annoyed at that point.
I actually much preferred the seducing combat mechanic in Khazeem's building, where you had to flirt with the hyenas based on what their dialogue said, as it was a CLEAR, FAIR reaction game, with NO RNG, which was a godsend at that point.
These were just annoyances I had to get off my chest after playing the game, so please don't take them too seriously. I just hope the next entry isn't so RNG based. I still really liked the game! and I def think it's worth the money. Please someone do let me know if there was a crucial thing I missed that would've alleviated my frustration with the submission system.
(P.S, what's the point of the Hyena Cologne? I never found a use for it in either my playthroughs :v)
