Nice effort for a first jam submission!

As others have mentioned, the camera is a little offputting, and the instant death felt unfair.  For future updates I would suggest adding a three-hit death with 1 second of invulnerability frames so you get a chance to say "whoops!" and step back.  It would also benefit from a flashing "door this way" arrow since I didn't even realise there was a door in the first room.  The small arrow on the ground wasn't enough of an indicator for me!

Some more sounds would be great, and I didn't see any of the screen transition limitation.

Yeah i think more sounds would have been great, and the limitation definetly slipped my mind some way through the design process.. I appreciate the camera comment, going back to look at it it's definetly jarring during gameplay. On terms of fairness i agree that the instant death is not it, i think invunrability plus health would add a lot to the gameplay so for sure i'll work out something with that. Yeah the doors were a little difficult, at first i thought i'd be able to make them clear enough through visuals alone and i think if i added a slight indent into the wall it may have aided in guiding the player but overall flashing arrows might have helped a lot. Thanks so much for all the feedback i really appreciate it and will definetly take it on board as i continue with this project!
