Hi, I was “grabbed” by your approach to read the rules from the bottom to the top.
It’s a nice & simple minigame. There is a certain portion of planning needed, the game is progressively harder, there is a feeling of reaching the top.
I know there is a hard 48-word limit, but some FAQ would be nice to add, especially:
Can I call CLIMB to keep a (higher) die with critical success, reroll the others, and then when I REACH A LEDGE, can I remove stored die alongside other critical dice? I think it is a tactical option made by design, but better to be sure.
By “higher die”, do you mean a die with higher rolled value, or a larger die by its number of sides? I naturally fell to the first interpetation, so after rolling d4(3) and d8(2) while keeping a d6(1) I can choose either of the rolled dice.
