Loved the fishing mechanic and the transition idea! The book is a nice touch and the progression on the shop is good, but could be faster. At the beginning i was trying to draw small circles around the fish, but that was really hard, then i found out i could draw a huge box around the whole screen and that was kind of OP, so i did that for the rest of the game and i didn't even had to buy more line upgrades past the second one. One way i think it would be cool stop the player from doing this is making so smaller circles does more damage.
